The Net Giver "Social Ecosystem"

Here are a few of The Net Giver's growing list of proprietary social programming initiatives. Not all programs apply or will be offered at all developments. The Net Giver Foundation and identified charitable sponsors will help fund each program. 10% of The Net Giver’s company profits are donated to The Net Giver Foundation each year and must go towards funding programs, including those listed below, that directly impact each Net Giver Community.

Net Giver Entrée – A non-profit entity providing a portfolio of “incubator” services including trust-based (no collateral) micro-loans targeting primarily female entrepreneurs proposing early-stage-ventures within each community. Micro-loan underwriting focuses on business model and financial need. Other offerings will include providing essential-services such as back-office functions, website, online campaigns, marketing collateral production, business planning, etc. The projected goal of the program is to directly or indirectly create 100 new jobs each year at each Entrée Center.

Boomer University® – Academic, professional, and arts & culture learning experiences in partnership with regional universities and learning institutions considering the wants, needs, and conveniences of the 55 and older age range demographic. Boomer University will utilize assigned common spaces and integrated technology within the development.

The Pathways – An organic garden greenhouse providing roughly 100 small planting plots leased by individuals or organizations to grow organic foods available to plot owners year-round. 100% of related revenue will go to funding the non-profit operating entity of the facility. The entire facility will be designed to run off of renewable energy sources under normal operations. The Pathways will be open to the public providing a year-round in-door walking and leisure park with sitting and study areas. Funding for development will be raised through community foundations and individual or corporate sponsors.

Net Giver Labs – An academic research program in partnership with local universities that facilitates the practical application of sustainable technology and the significantly underserved emerging industry of “senior tech.” The Net Giver Labs’ practical application program means facilities or companies who sign up get implementation of actual real-world technology solutions for dramatically reduced prices, due to their early-stage development nature. The Universities benefit by having a practical, real-world application site for their students to practice working with and implementing these emerging technologies at little to no additional cost.

5 Rhythms Reach Out® – Wellness programs for children and seniors impacting mental awareness, discipline, strength, flexibility, energy, cardiovascular fitness, and other therapeutic benefits. The 5 RRO program has been successfully piloted around the globe since 2007.

Net Giver TouchPoint – Network of integrated touch-screen monitors installed in residential units connected to a local private network and providing direct access to online social networks for messaging, scheduling, tasking, amenities, fitness consulting, life-management, and care services with family, friends, and care-givers. Also provides access to local or community information and activities.

Wii Leagues – A formally organized, sponsored, governing body facilitating Wii video game console sports leagues for residents across all developments.

Net Giver Health Services – Out-patient services, home health care services, personal training, physical therapy, nutrition, and studio programs utilizing common spaces within each development.

The Net Giver Relays – Funded and produced by The Net Giver Foundation, The Net Giver Relays are a series of road races for all ages. Each race has a women's and men's division, and advance in distance by age group. Kids run a 1k. Adults run a 10k. "Advanced" adults ages 55 and up do a 5k speed-walk. And anyone can enter the half-marathon. Each major metropolitan area where at least one Net Giver Community has been built conducts an annual Net Giver Relays event. Although individual awards are handed out for each race, the major awards are presented to teams made up of participants from each race, forming the relay concept.
